Terms of Service
By accessing or using Cookie Hire, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
Candidate and employer accounts
Cookie Hire provides separate experiences for candidates and employers. You must use the account type that matches your role and must not misrepresent your identity or intended use of the service.
Candidate profiles and publishing
Candidates may create and maintain candidate profiles and choose when to publish them, subject to applicable subscription and visibility requirements in the application. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of information you submit.
Employer access
Employers may access published candidate profiles through the employer search and related features according to the access rules implemented in the application. Access does not grant ownership of candidate information.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Cookie Hire for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or discriminatory purposes.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, scrape data at scale, or interfere with the service.
- Do not upload content you do not have the right to provide.
- Do not resell, redistribute, or misuse candidate information obtained through the service.
User content and responsibility
You retain responsibility for content you upload or publish. Cookie Hire does not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted information and is not responsible for hiring decisions made by employers or statements made by candidates.
Intellectual property
Cookie Hire and its branding, software, and design elements are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the service except as permitted by law.
Third-party services
Cookie Hire relies on third-party providers for infrastructure, authentication, payments, and related functions. Your use of those features may also be subject to the third party's terms.
Payments and subscriptions
Candidate visibility may require an active eligible subscription processed through the configured payment provider. Pricing and plan details shown at checkout apply to your purchase. Subscription status is determined by Cookie Hire's billing system — not by browser return URLs or query parameters after checkout.
Refunds and cancellations
Cancellation, renewal, and refund handling follow the checkout information, billing portal, and payment provider rules applicable to your purchase. Expired or inactive subscriptions may affect candidate visibility.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, or where required to protect the service.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cookie Hire is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific hiring outcomes, or that every profile will meet your expectations.
Changes to the service
We may update features, policies, or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
Governing law
The governing law and venue for disputes will be specified in the business owner's final launch documentation. This placeholder should be completed before production launch.

- Payment and subscription information: subscription status, billing-related records, and payment metadata processed by our payment provider. Cookie Hire does not need to store full payment card details when processing is handled by the provider.

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate Cookie Hire, including:
- Supabase for authentication, database storage, and related infrastructure.
- Dodo Payments or another configured payment provider for checkout, subscriptions, and billing events.
- Other subprocessors required to host, secure, or support the application.
Published candidate profile information may be visible to employers according to Cookie Hire's visibility rules.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by data type and should be finalized in the business owner's launch documentation where required.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information. To make a request, contact office@cookiehire.com.
Children's privacy

Cookie Policy
Cookies and similar technologies are small files or storage mechanisms used to remember information about your browser or device.
How Cookie Hire uses cookies
- Essential cookies: required for core site functionality and security.
- Authentication and session cookies: used to keep you signed in and protect your account session.
- Preference cookies: may remember settings that improve your experience where applicable.
Based on the current application setup, Cookie Hire does not describe the use of third-party advertising cookies or standalone analytics cookies on these public pages. If that changes, this policy should be updated before launch.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential or session cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the service.
Candidate & Employer Responsibilities
Candidate responsibilities
- Provide accurate and current information in your candidate profile.
- Only upload information you have the right to provide.
- Keep your account credentials secure.
- Understand that publishing your profile, together with an eligible subscription, may make applicable profile information available to employers through Cookie Hire's visibility rules.
Employer responsibilities
- Use candidate information only for legitimate hiring and recruitment purposes.
- Respect applicable privacy, employment, and anti-discrimination laws.
- Do not misuse, scrape, resell, or redistribute candidate information.
- Maintain the security of employer account credentials.
- Do not use the service for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes.
Payments & Subscriptions
Cookie Hire uses a candidate subscription model for employer visibility. At launch, candidate visibility is offered as a monthly plan currently shown as $19/month in the application's pricing and checkout flows. Confirm the current price at checkout before purchasing.
- Candidate visibility is associated with an active eligible subscription recorded in Cookie Hire's billing system.
- Payments are processed through the configured payment provider (Dodo Payments).
- Subscription activation depends on verified payment events processed by the application — not on success parameters in the browser URL after checkout.
- Cancellation, non-renewal, or expiration may remove employer visibility even if a profile was previously published.
- Payment processing may also be subject to the payment provider's terms and privacy practices.
Employer accounts and candidate search are free. Employers do not purchase candidate visibility subscriptions through Cookie Hire.
Candidate Visibility
Cookie Hire candidate profiles are visible to employers only when the candidate has an eligible published profile and the applicable visibility/subscription requirements are satisfied.
- Candidates control whether they publish their profile.
- Eligible published profiles may appear in employer search results according to application rules.
- Expired or inactive subscriptions can remove employer visibility even if a profile remains in the system.
- Unpublished profiles are not available through the employer search experience.
Public previews, employer account access, and publish requirements are enforced in the application and may change as product rules evolve.
